TIGP Application Announcement for 2011

Academia Sinica, the preeminent research institution in Taiwan, is pleased to announce that its Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 academic years, and applications are due before 31 March, 2011.

 

TIGP offers the following eight Ph.D. programs:

  1. Chemical Biology and Molecular Biophysics 
  2. Molecular Science and Technology 
  3. Molecular and Biological Agricultural Sciences 
  4. Bioinformatics 
  5. Molecular and Cell Biology 
  6. Nano Science and Technology 
  7. Molecular Medicine 
  8. Earth System Science

Full-time Faculty Position Wanted at National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan

The Institute of Communications Management at National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan is seeking applications for one to two full-time faculty positions beginning on August 2011. We are especially interested in the areas of Media Business Management, Advertising, Media Marketing, and Public Relations.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

For appointment at the assistant professor level, applicants should hold a Ph.D. and demonstrate the potential to achieve, or have a strong record for research and teaching. Candidates in higher ranks should have an established record of both strong research and teaching .

 

ABOUT THE INSTITUTE AND UNIVERSITY

NSYSU was established in 1980 at Kaohsiung, the second largest metropolitan in Taiwan and has emerged over the years as one of the best comprehensive universities in the country. In 2002 NSYSU was named by the Ministry of Education as one of the country's seven major research-intensive universities. The Institute was established in 1997 and is one of the best graduate program of its kind in Taiwan. The Institute offers Master's program.
