Faculty Positions in Department of Power Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Power Mechanical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, R.O.C., invites applications for full-time tenure-track faculty positions. Candidates should have Ph.D. degree and an expertise in at least one of the following areas:

 

l          Thermal Flow/ Energy (Experiments)

l          Intelligent Robots/ Energy Systems Control

l          Solid Mechanics(Computational/Experimental)/ Nanotechnology

l          Mechanical Design

l          Opto-mechatronics/Optics/Optical-electro Engineering/ Biomechanics/Biochemistry/ Biomedical Science

l          Not in the fields mentioned but with excellent performance in other fields.

 

The proposed starting date for the position is August 1, 2011.

 

Applications should include the following:

(1) A complete curriculum vita.

(2) A publication list (Please attach at least one reprint or copy of representative publications).

(3) Three or more reference letters.

(4) A statement of teaching interests with courses outline. (For those who applying an assistant professor, please send a copy of transcript to evaluate the teaching course)

(5) A statement of research interests and plans.

(6) A copy of Ph.D. degree diploma or a letter specifying the expected graduation date approved by thesis advisor.

(7) Other information that could help us to identify your accomplishments (such as a transcript or academic report, awards, patents etc.)
