Qualifications

1. A Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or related subjects from an accredited university.

2. The applicant should have at least 2 of the following fields of expertise:

(1) International finance, banking and economics

(2) Analysis of financial products

(3) Application of investment models

3. Good command of written and spoken English

4. Familiarity with financial application software

5. At least 2 years of relevant professional work experience

All candidates should be R.O.C. citizens.

University Faculty Positions

The Department of Civil Engineering at National Taiwan University invites applications for the following full-time faculty positions (Assistant/ Associate/Full Professor):
 
one position in the Division of Structural Engineering. Applicants with expertise and research interests in the area of Computational Mechanics and Engineering Mathematics are preferred,
one position in the Division of Transportation Engineering. Applicants with expertise and research interests in Transportation Planning, Sustainable Transportation, and/or Air Transportation are preferred. 
Starting date for these positions is August 1, 2012. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in civil engineering or related fields by the starting date, and have demonstrated interests and expertise in inter-disciplinary research and undergraduate teaching.
 
The deadline for the application is December 31, 2011. Applicants must provide the following items:
a cover letter,
a resume that states academic and working experiences, expertise, and possible courses to be offered,
one statement of research plan for the next five years (maximum 6 pages),
one copy of the official doctorate degree certificate if possible,
transcript of graduate studies (if applicants are applying for an assistant professor position) ,
a list of contact information of three to five references for letters of recommendation,
a list of publication,
one representative publication published between August 1, 2007 and August 1, 2012; five selected publications published between August 1, 2005 and August 1, 2012.
